Kabataş is a useful starting point for Dolmabahçe Palace and the Bosphorus waterfront. It also connects with the F1 funicular to Taksim and the T1 line.

• Tophane:

Get off at Tophane for Galataport, Istanbul Modern and the waterfront. The surrounding streets also lead toward cafés, galleries and the lower parts of Beyoğlu.

• Karaköy:

Karaköy is one of the most practical T1 tram stops. From here, you can walk across Galata Bridge, explore the waterfront or head uphill toward Galata Tower. Ferry and historic funicular connections are also nearby. 

• Eminönü:

Use Eminönü for the Spice Bazaar, Galata Bridge and nearby ferry services. It is also an excellent stop if you want to combine your tram journey with a ferry ride across the Bosphorus.

• Gülhane:

Gülhane is convenient for Gülhane Park and the Istanbul Archaeological Museums. It can also provide a quieter approach to the Topkapı Palace area than the busier Sultanahmet stop.

• Sultanahmet:

This is the main T1 stop for the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, and Hippodrome. Most of these landmarks are only a short walk from the station, making Sultanahmet one of the busiest stops on the route.

• Çemberlitaş and Beyazıt–Kapalıçarşı:

Çemberlitaş is useful for Çemberlitaş Hamamı and surrounding historic streets. For the Grand Bazaar, use Beyazıt–Kapalıçarşı and follow the signs toward the nearest entrance.
